皆さんは日本の軽井沢というところをご存知でしょうか？
Have you ever heard of a name of a place called Karuizawa in Japan?
長野県の浅間山に位置する軽井沢。避暑地として、また観光の街として多くの人に親しまれています。
It is located in the outskirts of Mount Asama and has been familiar with many people as a summer retreat and a tourist spot.

そこに、木々や別荘に囲まれた峠に続く１本の道があります。
There is a street leading to the pass surrounded by trees and villas.
通りにはいろんなステキなお店がいっぱい並んでいます。
道行く人は涼しい夏の風を感じながら
パン屋さん、ジャム屋さん、お洋服屋さん...。
アイスクリームを食べたり、犬を散歩させながら買い物を楽しみます。
Various attractive shops are lined up on the street.
Bakeris, jam shops, clothes shops…
Those who walk down the street enjoy shopping while feeling a cool summer breeze, eating ice cream or walking a dog.
そんな街のはずれ。古い教会と小さな川が流れているところに
売っている品物は猫の品物ばかり....。
屋根には土が盛られ、ハニーサックルの花々がまるでこの家を飾るように咲き誇っています。
一軒の木でできたお店があります。
店の前にはタキシードを着た男爵猫の看板が立ち、そのはりがねでできた髭は、
足元ではラブラドール犬が寝そべり、お客さんが来てもピクリともしません。
子供にいたずらされて毎日形が変わっていました。
In front of the shop stands a signboard of a baron cat wearing a tuxedo. Its wire beard change its shape day by day by work of playful children.
At the feet of the signboard a Labrador dog sleeps restlessly despite the presence of customers.
そんな高原の小さな猫屋さんが、パリに行くお話です。
This is a story of an owner of such a small cat shop in highland who is going to Paris.
